Urban Decay recently released their Electric 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Travel Size Set of 5 as part of their Holiday 2011 collection. It's always nice to stock up on Urban Decay eyeliner pencils when they're released in a set. Rather than buying a full size blue eyeliner that I might never end up finishing, it's nice to buy the travel sizes. They're super-pigmented, soft, long-wearing, and mostly smudge proof. This set is currently available through Sephora and Ulta. It is Limited Edition and retails for $32.

Ransom required extra layering for even coverage as it's slightly more sheer than the other shades. This Electric set is the bright colored counterpart to Urban Decay's set of neutral shades for the holiday, which is the Naked 24/7 eyeliner set.

Wearing a brightly colored eyeliner really makes the eyes pop! To wear this look, keep the rest of your face neutral with a pale lid. False lashes look great with a bright eyeliner. Another thing to consider is to use a complimentary shade to your eye color. Brown eyes look great with green or gold eye makeup, blue eyes look great with brown or grey, green goes great with purple, and hazel eyes really pop with green eye makeup. There are no rules, so try what you like. Experiment!
